This structure enhances its effectiveness as a polycarboxylic acid superplasticizer, providing remarkable slump retention properties. In the naturally alkaline environment of concrete, ester groups undergo gradual hydrolysis into carboxylic acid groups, which then adsorb onto cement particles, delivering a sustained slow-release protective effect against slump loss.
Within the alkaline milieu of concrete, this product's reactive molecular groups gradually unleash dispersing properties, continuously facilitating cement dispersion. This ensures a prolonged slump retention effect, effectively impeding any potential slump loss in concrete, thus maintaining its optimal workability over time.
