Decription:

TPEG is a kind of main raw material (polycarboxylate ether monomer) for producing high performance water reducing type and slump retention type polycarboxylate superplasticizer, it is produced with isopentenol and ethylene epoxide as main raw material.

Chemical formula:

 CH2=C(CH3)CH2CH2O(CH2CH2O)nH, n=10~60
TPEG-2400 is a polyoxyethylene isopentenyl ether with molecular weight 2400.It's produced by isopentenol and ethylene epoxide as main raw material.

The water reducer from this material(TPEG-2400) has good adaptability to cements.
Compared with other polycarboxylate material, the production cost of water reducer from this material is greatly reduced.
The water reducing rate of the water reducer (solid content 22%) from this material amounts to 30% under 1.1% concrete addition.
The water reducer from this material is characterized by early strength,high-strength. The early strength and 28 days'strength of the concrete is greatly improved, compressive strength ratio %: 1 Day≥180; 7 Days≥170; 28 Days≥150.
The water reducer from this material has high durability,can efficiently reduce the water/gel ratio, enhance durability, reduce risk of shrinkage and creep.
The water reducer from this material has less slump loss, which grows initially without compromising strength, it also has sustained release effect, slump retention is ≥190 mm.
The water reducer from this material is environment friendly, chloride ion is no more than 0.1%, comply with the ISO 14000 international environment protection management standard.

PCE made from TPEG-2400 can be used to produce high performance, high strength commercial concrete at work site or long-distant convey.
