The BT-302 Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer (slump retaining) represents a state-of-the-art advancement in concrete technology. Developed by Shandong Gaoqiang New Material Technology Co., LTD, this innovative solution combines the newly formulated polycarboxylate superplasticizer mother liquor with high-quality imported additives. Through strategic partnerships with leading polyether manufacturers, we have pioneered a cutting-edge catalyst and control system, resulting in a scientifically optimized molecular structure for unparalleled slump retention.
To cater to diverse customer demands, Gaoqiang has expertly crafted a novel polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer (slump retaining), distinguished by its remarkable ability to maintain slump while enhancing dispersibility. Rooted in an in-depth understanding of slump loss dynamics in freshly mixed concrete, this design leverages both post-addition methods of superplasticizers and breakthrough research on reactive polymers. By innovatively altering admixture adsorption behavior and crafting a bespoke polymer structure, this product mirrors the chemical architecture of graft copolymer admixtures, yet features extended graft side chains, reduced carboxyl group ratios, and strategically placed ester cross-linking points within the copolymer framework.
The product's long polyethylene glycol side chains deliver significant steric hindrance effects, effectively decelerating the physical aggregation of cement particles. A minimal quantity of polymer, adsorbed at the cement-water interface, ensures a degree of dispersibility. The copolymer's smart ester cross-linking points undergo hydrolysis in an alkaline cement environment, progressively releasing low molecular weight copolymers imbued with dispersing capabilities into the cement-water matrix. This process adeptly compensates for the superplasticizer's consumption by C3A and C4AF, preserving it in a critical micelle state and safeguarding against drastic slump loss.
Performance Characteristics:
(1) Astonishingly, there is zero slump loss after one hour, while over 80% of the initial slump is retained after two hours, providing an effective solution for the notorious issue of rapid slump loss in concrete and fulfilling slump retention needs under special conditions.

Usage Guidelines:

(1) For experimentation, a recommended dosage of 0.5% - 1.0% (by weight of cementitious material) is suggested. Determine the optimal dosage through testing, considering the specific characteristics of cement, aggregates, and other factors.
(2) The superplasticizer can be dissolved in water and combined with other additives or directly introduced into the concrete mix. For best results, it is recommended to add it post-compounding.
(3) Compatible with various retarders and slump retention agents, it is advised not to mix with fatty acids, naphthalene-based, amino-based, or ion-based additives to prevent performance interference.

Packing, Storage, and Transport:
1. Available in liquid form, this product is packaged in plastic drums (230 kg/drum) or 1000 Liter / IBC tanks. Bulk options are available to meet specific customer requirements.
2. Classified as non-toxic and non-flammable, the product should be stored in a dry place, away from direct sunlight to ensure longevity and stability.
3.JS-103 polycarboxylate superplasticizer has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided it is stored or under cover.
