BT-303 Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer
50% (High slump retaining type)
Product Introduction
Introducing BT-303, a cutting-edge generation of polycarboxylate superplasticizers, meticulously crafted using TPEG through innovative free radical polymerization. This groundbreaking product integrates a novel sustained-release group, which, under the alkaline environment of concrete, gradually releases its dispersive functions. The result is a continuous dispersion of cement, effectively mitigating concrete slump loss and ensuring superior performance. Despite its low water reduction rate, BT-303 excels in maintaining high slump protection, making it indispensable for high-strength concrete applications. Widely utilized in demanding projects such as pumping concrete, super-flow self-compacting, and high-strength high-performance concrete, as well as commercial concrete for high-speed railways, expressways, hydropower, and other large-scale engineering marvels. It showcases a low water reduction rate, yet it offers exceptional slump protection performance. Primarily designed for high-strength concrete with stringent slump protection requirements, this product finds extensive application in pumping concrete, super-flow self-compacting, high-strength high-performance concrete, and commercial concrete, serving high-speed railway, expressway, hydropower, and other major engineering endeavors.
Product Feature
1. Exhibits extraordinary slump performance, maintaining concrete slump for 2 hours without any loss.
2. Due to its low water reduction rate, BT-303 is generally used in combination with a water reduction-type mother liquor for optimal results.
3. Its low viscosity and thixotropy make it ideally suited for concrete with a low water-cement ratio, enhancing workability and performance.
4. Features a slower release time compared to BT-302, generally activating after 1 hour, though this can vary with changes in concrete materials. Certain fluctuations may occur.

Application
1. Perfectly suited for early strength, retarded, precast, cast-in-place, flow, self-compacting, mass, and high-performance concretes, as well as clear concrete. Widely applicable to all industrial and civil building projects, especially low-grade commercial concrete.
2. Extensively applicable in high-speed railways, nuclear power, water conservancy, hydropower projects, subways, large bridges, expressways, harbors, and wharves, serving national priority and major projects.
3. Ideal for all types of industrial, civil construction, and commercial concrete mixing stations.
How to Use
1. This product is presented as a colorless or light yellow liquid. Recommended dosage involves using 0-30% of the mother liquor with a reducing water mother liquor, along with other minor materials to concoct a water-reducing agent. The dosage typically constitutes 1% to 3% of the total weight of cementing materials.
2. Prior to usage or when shifting types or batches of cement and gravel, it's critical to conduct adaptability tests with these materials. Based on the results, adjust the proportion of the water-reducing agent accordingly.
3. While this product can be used on its own, it's usually combined with water-reducing mother liquor and set retarding mother liquor to minimize concrete slump loss. It can also be compounded with functional aids for admixtures with retarder, early strength, antifreeze, and pumping functions. Application methods and conditions should be confirmed through testing and compounding technology.
4. Compatible with other admixtures like early strength agents, air entrainment agents, and retarders. Always conduct tests prior to use. Avoid mixing with naphthalene series water reducers.
5. To determine the optimal mix ratio for concrete cement, rigorous testing is essential. During use, ensure that both the mixed and measured water are simultaneously incorporated into the concrete mixer. Prior to application, a comprehensive mixing test should be conducted to guarantee the superior quality and performance of the concrete.
6. In instances where the concrete mix includes active admixtures such as fly ash and slag, it is crucial to account for the total quantity of cementing materials when calculating the necessary amount of water-reducing agent. This ensures the efficacy and consistency of the mixture.
